Orange ice

Ingredients
250g caster sugar
125ml water
150ml orange juice
300ml cream
Method
Place the sugar and water into a small saucepan and stir to dissolve
Place over a medium heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Take off the heat, allow to cool a little, and stir in the juice and cream
Place in a shallow dish and freeze
Cut the top off the oranges and scoop out as much of the flesh as you can
This is a great job for the kids - let them eat as they go
