Char-grilled asparagus and beans with olive oil and black pepper
Serves
Serves 8 - 10 as part of a barbecue selection

Ingredients
2 bunches asparagus
200g green beans
200g flat beans
olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 limes
Method
Blanch the asparagus and beans in boiling salted water for 2 minutes
Drain and place into iced water immediately
When cool drain and toss in some olive oil and salt
Cook on a hot bbq until charred and serve with lots of black pepper and a squeeze of lime juice
